The collaboration saw various groups each playing a pivotal role: Tidy Towns meticulously worked from the beach side back to the lagoon end of the Promenade, while AfriForum enhanced the area by trimming overgrown grass near the lagoon steps and revamping an unsightly pole in the circle, which will soon boast a fresh coat of paint thanks to a generously donated cherry picker from Cherrypickers KZN.
Complementing these efforts, Kingsway High School added a touch of artistry with beautiful mural paintings that adorn the circle wall, enriching the visual appeal of the space. The Ethekwini Municipality provided essential support by supplying refuse bags and removing all debris, ensuring the Promenade was left in pristine condition. |
